One question, what is the compatibility mode option for?
i think the compatibility mode is for like shaders and stuff if you want to turn it off and such because some shaders cause it to lag the game

one minor thing is that is a bit laggy but when i play it in windows it is not
in windows it supports it more making it less laggy but for mac its gonna be a little laggy because it doesn't support it as much. plus it might have to do with your mac system
